almost ideal

I will use this unit and wait for Mediagate to make a new one with DTS decoding and PGS subtitle (the subtitle format in BD movie) displaying ability. That would be an ideal player. Oh sorry I didn't know Newegg had it. I jumped when I saw XPC**** had...

Wish it would play FLV files like you can get on Youtube.

Very easy setup and the product plays all advertised file types well. They even included a HMDI cable. The remote is small but easy to use. The function buttons are located in a logical way. I like the fast forward/reverse 10 second jump button. Works...

The unit is small--about the size of an old external 56k modem. It's made of plastic and very light weight. The internal fan is quite loud--louder than my PC with several fans running. Perhaps it is caused by a resonance due to fan speed and enclosure...
