I didn't buy it here, but at a retail store. Just wanted to warn others. And after surfing the net, it seems I'm not the only one that has seen their die within months of purchase. Maybe the technology is over hyped.

Heat pipe technology allows for relatively quiet operation (although you know when it's running from across the room) at cold temps

I was expecting it to be quiter. This thing has (3) 80mm fans (just like the ones in a computer case) so it's not silent by any means. Sounds like a computer that you can hear from across the room or down the hall. Had it in my basement for about 6...
