Big and Beautiful

 

Mine is 5 years old now and appart from a defrost when the fan starts icing up its pretty good. I found that if I replace the filter it wont ice up as much. I do like the sturdy shelving and its ability to always have room for a few more things....

Size and price are first. Ice maker is great and the Nano technology is good

Was promoted as frost free but that is not quite rite. What fridge is? Filters are $50 on line

Samsung Sucks!

 

I bought a samsung french door fridge and it stopped working properly after just 4 years. Type in "samsung fridge problem" and you will see online that thousands of hacked off consumers hate samsung fridges. Do not buy them- samsung does not know how...

5 years old and I can't get parts for it

 

This is not the first time this fridge has broken down. First time was under waranty and thermostat went. Now 5 1/2 years old the heating element in the freezer has gone and the PC Board has also gone. Have been told by Samsung that the PC Board is not...

Great size and good large door bins.

Poor design for cooling with single compressor and ice maker bad. Reliability is very poor.

Hopeless piece of garbage. Pity we cant organise a class action against this sub standard product. Shame on you Samsung. I will spread the word far and wide to ensure noone I know makes the same mistake I made!

Nice looking and good capacity

This fridge started rattling like a tractor one month out of warranty. Wish I had read the internet before purchasing this total lemon. Samsung are least interested and referred us to the "out of warranty" service people who want a $99 call out fee and...

Terrible

 

I will never buys this fridge or any fridge from samsung. Samsung need to look at the reliability of their products.

Nothing good worked for nearly one year, then started making noises, and stopped working.

Reliability is a big question to this brand. You hear rattling noises worst fridge.

DO NOT BUY THIS FRIDGE - IT IS A LARGE LEMON. While it looks great its performance is well below the bar for a Samsung product.

Great looks - very modern

absolutely useless for Australia - like everyone else fan freezes over making a lot of noise, not cooling freezer compartment. also icing up inside of freezer not keeping this cold. have also last a vast amount of food due to it defrosting

I had something like 17 call outs to the fridge in the warranty period, after that they did not want to know me.Samsung would be the worst customer relations department , hard to get through, being cut off and given the run around.I wrote to Choice...

Fridge part works sometimes..Looks smart, love the look of the ice/water dispenser, (but doesn't work) and the hype about the silver nano coating.

The water dispenser and the water that fills the ice trays automatically freezes and so unable to get ice OR water. This transfers to the fridge with cooling problems.

DO NOT buy this brand of fridge. The product is not suitable to the Australian climate, Samsung know this and refuse to honour their promises.

nothing anymore :-(

same problem as everyone else - thermostate freezes over. Had it replaced 3 times and was advised that no more could be done for the fridge and that it would be replaced. That was by April Florido/Samsung in early 2009 - guess what, it's now nearly...

Love it - best so far - well priced and problem apparent which are easily managed Its a shame owners don't want to overcome simple issues with this great fridge

Everyting - including its faults

Defrosting every 6 months - but thats what fridges are all about
