This is a decent DVD player. i soppose that it is a good price for the amount of features you get, but i was not totaly satisfied with this particular dvd player. If anyone is unsure about buying a DVD player LOOK into it carefully before purchasing....

I hadn't done too much research when looking for a DVD player and was just looking for one that had 5.1 Channel output. That's all I was after originally.....

I Really think Phillips DvD's are reliable. But what I don't like about them is when you are right at the end of the movie and something happens and you have to shut it off. Once I even was watching a three hour movie that I had watched before...
