Mystery Men

I have owned a DVD copy of Mystery Men for some years and have just enjoyed it once again. I like my super hero films either very dark or very silly. No guesses where MM fits in to this. The story is fantastic about want a be heros with no super powers...

Mystery Men is one of those films that you normally find by accident, late at night or in a friends collection, that when you watch you realise is a hidden gem.

This comedy was unfairly overlooked on release, mainly because of bad timing. If it was released a few years later, when the new wave of comic book movies like Spider-Man where released, it would have been a massive hit.
