Buyer Beware

Although the newegg site says the warranty is one year, the stuff inside the box says it is 90 days parts & labor. Phillips tried to convince me that this is an industry standard, which I have never heard of on home electronics. They have awful...

Nice remote, slim case, and HDMI outputs

I have owned 2 of these. The first died (completely dead, no response at all) about 4 months after I bought it. It was only then that I found out about their horrible factory warranty. The store where I bought it exchanged it for me out of sympathy....

good features but very annoying

Its better than regular

Because it was free I can not complain about the quality. However If you look into getting a $150 Toshiba DVD up-converter your going to be a lot happier than if you bought this player.

Much better picture than a standard DVD player.

Does not come with an HDMI cable. Picture looks kind of blocky in some fast action scenarios.
