Samsung has always produced good products. I chose this one for a friend. Tried it before giving it to them, worked fine. After giving it to them they said it didn't play their movies. Not sure on this one

When I copy a dvd the copy stalls, and won't play thru, on single and dual layer discs, plays factory dvd's well but won't play it's own copies

How in the world a DVD players just stops reading DVDs in 90 days to me is astounding.

Purchased for my son, for the low price it's actually quite nice. Small compact doesn't make noise as I previously read I like it. Great value
