Toshiba DVD/VCR Recorder Combo with 1080p Upconversion

Made a few mistakes when first used, but after reading instructions thoroughly, it was easy to operate. So far, the product works. Just do not like that you cannot use the TV to watch other shows, while copying video.

This is a great item. I am extremely happy with it !!!

Works very well. However, I find that I must play the tape completely in order to dub the entire move.

We have a large collection of VHS home movies. Now they are on DVD's. The VHS/DVD recorder worked exactly as shown on the show. No complicated procedures to go thru. Set5up was easy and with the supplied cables I was recording in a few minuetes.

I have three VCR's and many,many VHS tapes. I do not have home movies or a DVR and I don't want one. Of course the VHS tapes are all copy protected. I should have known this was too good to be true. Wish it had been VERY CLEARLY stated during the demo....

I bought unit strictly to dub VHS tapes to DVD. After much time, finally found directions on the Q&A on Toshiba's website. But, DVD that was created doesn't play. Did I do something wrong? Who knows! Toshiba placed a paper in the product box to advise...

My fanily has a lot of the old tapes and this gives us a chance to make copys and everyone can have one on DVD. My father was just talking about his tapes a week ago. This was right on time!!

IT'S was difficult to try to operate,would not dubb vcr to dvd,call tech line 2x before I talk to support, he said it was defective,I sent it back, would not recommend.
