difficult to follow instruction manual, too complex, need simple guide to basic facilities. Remote imprecise, not robust quality

Very comprehensive allowing copying and playback of HD, DVD & VCR.

limited set up options, e.g. I can't find a way to switch off the SCART fuction so that whenever the machine starts up for recording etc it changes the tv input that you are watching. VERY IRRITATING.

does what i wanted records vieo and puts them on DVS

takes a while to understand how to operate it for editining and does not record cds

Easy to use the basic functions. Thumbnail views of HDD recordings handy but restricted as can often show advertisments.

Unlike similar products (which receive analogue only or Sky box) being unable to record two channels at once given there is a VHS drive, DVD, drive and HDD.
