Fitbit Versa 4

The Fitbit Versa 4 is a solid fitness tracker packed into a smartwatch body, but doesn't really build on the good work done with the Versa 3

Reliable sleep tracker ; Physical button returns ; Smooth UI

Third party app support is gone ; Resting and exercise heart rate accuracy ; Stress features a work in progress

The Fitbit Versa 4 is a solid, affordable fitness tracker packed into a smartwatch body, but doesn’t really build on the good work Fitbit did with the Versa 3. In fact, it offers fewer features and is still hamstrung by its Premium subscription...

Fitbit Versa 4 review: a fitness-forward smartwatch that makes little sense

Fitbit tried to turn the Versa 4 into a full-fledged fitness smartwatch with little success

Physical button makes it easier to operate the watch ; Updated interface is more user friendly ; 40+ sports modes

No third-party app support ; No WiFi ; Heart rate tracking accuracy issues

On paper, the Fitbit Versa 4 is the best Fitbit for people who like to exercise. It has 40+ exercise modes, a multi-path heart rate sensor, a built-in GPS, and a slew of fitness features. In reality, it's little more than a Sense 2 Lite with no WiFi,...

Fitbit Versa 4 review

Fitbit's dedicated fitness watch doesn't quite measure up

Lower upkeep than an Apple Watch ; Reworked interface its easy to understand ; The design remains distinctive and cute ; Fairly long battery life in the default mode

Some HR accuracy issues ; No third-party apps ; Integrated speaker is poor ; Some features not available at launch

The Fitbit Versa 4 is less of a smartwatch than some older Fitbits, at least at launch, and can’t challenge the best for fitness tracking accuracy. However, its battery life is sound and this is a good fit for those happy with a buffet of surface-level...

Fitbit Versa 4 initial review: Sense lite?

The Versa 4 is virtually indistinguishable from the Sense 2, so what do you get for your money?

Lightweight and comfortable ; Lots of custom strap options ; Not too expensive

Some features locked behind premium paywall ; Sensors not as advanced as Sense 2

For those looking for a wearable that offers a range of fitness and wellness tracking features, that'll work with any smartphone and has conveniences like on-wrist payments and voice calls, you can't really go wrong with the Fitbit Versa 4.

Fitbit Versa 4 review: fitness before smarts

Fourth-gen wearable makes way for the Pixel Watch with a firmer heath focus - but is the Fitbit Versa 4 also a good smartwatch?

The button is back ; Still a great sleep tracker ; Welcome user interface changes

Loses big smartwatch features from Versa 3 ; Sports tracking is still just okay ; Not hugely different from Versa 3

Great for fitness tracking and general wellness, but stripped-out features make for a worse smartwatch.

Fitbit Versa 4 review: Sense 2 lite

The Versa 4 has a redesigned interface, comprehensive health and fitness tracking and sees the return of a physical button. But the smartwatch side of things is lacking.

Good battery life ; Physical button ; Alexa built-in

Some features locked behind Premium subscription ; No Google Assistant or music control ; Some Bluetooth connection problems ; No third-party apps

The Versa 4 is almost identical to the Sense 2, lacking only the ECG and body response sensors. The lower price might be tempting, but Fitbit has removed useful features from both devices such as music playback control, Google Assistant support, and...

Fitbit Versa 4 Review

You get six months of complimentary Fitbit Premium membership with the Versa 4.

looks, sharp screen ; Alexa support, on-wrist calls ; step and sleep tracking ; Excellent app and fitness data analysis ; Six months of Premium subscription free with the purchase

Unreliable heart rate tracking ; Average battery life ; A bit expensive on the whole

The Fitbit Versa 4 is, at least in terms of the quality of the hardware, a fairly ordinary fitness tracker and smartwatch for the price. However, the true value of this is not purely in the hardware, but in the app and benefits of the Premium...

Fitbit Versa 4 review

The Fitbit Versa 4 is a good-looking, midrange smartwatch with some worthwhile conveniences and above average battery life. But it suffers from inaccurate heart rate readings and limited “smart” f

are for. It wouldn’t be the worst idea to get a Fitbit Versa 3 on sale as retailers clear stock, either.

Fitbit Versa 4 review: Straying further from the path

At its core, the Fitbit Versa 4 is a great fitness tracker, but it falls a bit flat when it comes to being a great smartwatch. This isn't the Versa you were looking for.

The hardware navigation button is back ; Superb battery life ; Lightweight and sleek design ; Works with both iOS and Android ; Google Wallet and Pay coming in a future update

No Google Assistant, Alexa only ; Unable to download third-party apps ; No more music streaming ; Some features are still locked behind Fitbit Premium ; More expensive than its predecessor

For years, Fitbit has led the way in terms of offering excellent smartwatches and fitness trackers in almost every price bracket. We expected the Versa 4 to help continue this trend, building upon an excellent experience offered by its predecessor....
