AT&T Quickfire

The AT&T Quickfire is made for messaging, but its fend-for-yourself music playback options and stubborn touch screen are disappointments.

Comfortable QWERTY keyboard. Roomy LCD. Includes Web browser, IM, and e-mail clients. Solid multitasker.

Finicky touch screen. Weak reception. Lacks a standard 3.5mm headphone jack—and there's no adapter or earbud set in the box.

AT&T Quickfire Review

For so long it seems that T-Mobile's line of Sidekick devices have become synonymous with the hip, young, and cultured teen age group. Heads definitely turn when someone takes one out of their pocket and swivel that screen upright. It's the staple of a...

Review: AT&T Quickfire

AT&T's Quickfire messaging device combines touch-screen fun with a full, physical QWERTY to make typing easier. Here is a report on its pros and cons. With video tour.

AT&T Quickfire

This holiday season, mobile phones with full QWERTY keyboards crowd the wireless market. While the BlackBerry Storm has done away with the hardware keyboard, there are plenty of smartphones (HTC Fuze, Samsung Epix) and feature phones (Samsung Propel,...

A large screen among feature phones at QVGA resolution. Good video playback and music playback quality. GPS has very good performance. Good call quality and reception

No on-screen keyboard. No wired headset included in the package. Games don't work well without on-screen keyboard and no QWERTY control support on many titles

The AT&T Quickfire holds its own for the youth crowd in the bourgeoning texting phone market. Its large screen, simple interface and very useable keyboard give the phone an edge for messaging, web browsing and video watching. The phone also has great...

Do not buy

Owned this phone while I was with AT&T for a few months. One of the worst phones I've used.

Nice keyboard

Touch screen is awful. Almost useless

Bad bad bad phone

I like how it looks and feels, and it is one tough phone

Touch screen bad, try and touch the text messaging icon on one side, and it thinks you pushed the im icon on the other side of the screen

AT&T Quickfire

The touch screen on this phone rarely works. I'll press reply and it will hit delete when texting. Data entry while texting is also extremely lagged. I definitely do not recommend this phone to anyone.

This Phone is Garbage

All in all, just do not buy this phone. I love newegg, and am not trying to convince people not to buy their things, but this phone is TERRIBLE.

There is none, except that dropping this phone will not hurt it. In fact, running it over a few times won't even hurt it. It's like the hulk of all phones. Get it a little wet? Don't fear, mine ran perfectly fine fully submerged under water

The phone is a brick. It is huge for its lack of quality. The camera is terrible. The touch screen is garbage, and most times unresponsive. These phones aren't even made anymore

Naivetés of Others - And a Great phone

I would like to point out the naivetés of some people and say that opera works GREAT on this phone. Most All phones have security on them which prevents UNSIGNED versions of Opera to have unlimited access to the internet. Just go to Opera's Mobile...

I can't say no enough

I got this thing because I wanted to text and internet, so I got the cheapest AT&T "unlimited" plan (when these first came out). Boy, was that a mistake. First off the included browser is a joke. OK, fine. So I went and installed Opera because it's...

Doesn't look too bad. Screen is decent enough. Keyboard is fine once you get used to it

Camera sucks. Very laggy. Screen often doesn't want to respond, sometimes responds like you're hitting a totally different area for about a minute, then goes back to being right ; INSTALLED APPS IS THE MOST ANNOYING THING EVER (see below)
