LG KG270

Just the basics in a compact and cheap package

Compact design, lightweight, user interface

Hit and miss keypad design, single ear bud headphones

At this price, there is little to complain about. The KG270 does the basics well if you are after a cheap as chips mobile phone, though the keypad design may be frustrating for some.

Bad

Rating: 4/10 (somewhat below average). The budget price-point, no-frills characteristics & slim size are attractive features. I'm not expecting bells & whistles, but the phone would have been more satisfying & easier to use, if there were fewer...

1) Lightweight, small & easy to carry around 2) Useful PIM features —- eg. world clock, unit/currency converter, alarm, memo 3) No frills (eg. camera, mp3 player) other than FM radio player -- ideal for users who just want a basic phone for voice-calls...

1) Performance lag -- phone often hangs for a few seconds in between function selections/ processing 2) Significant loss of keypad sensitivity & button lettering gets worn out after 2 yrs -- pressing the button once either results in no reaction or...

OK

it doesn't have game, camera etc fancy function. but for users who only want to be able to make call and send SMS, it phone is adequate.

light, slim. easy to carry around.

My LG mobile (KG270) phone started to have the beep, beep signal in the middle of the call conversation while it's only several months old. I ensure my mobile battary is always adequate. so low battery couldn't be the reason. Another annoying problem...

It is easy to use, simple menu options, great for just calling and receiving calls and occasional texting. I bought it because I wanted a small phone just for carrying when out and about with my baby without bags etc. I didnt want to pay the extra for...

Small size, easily fits into small change pocket in my jeans. Battery life is good, lasts at least a week between charges. Has some discreet ringtones to pick from that dont sound obvious.

I sometimes miss a call, but I think it is because I dont select loud ring tone. (i have since used vibrate as well as ring tone) Texting is a bit slow, I havn't tried predictive.

Only paid $22 for this phone but we think it was a good bargain,no special features but it does have a built in fm radio. No camera or games and the ring tones are pretty lame.Makes a cute sort of clucking sound when keys pushed.Does the job and...

Purchased phone for hubby who is mobile challenged, he loves it.Nice screen and key pad lights up.Battery life is good

Stupid small digits in phone book hard to tell the zero from the eight as it has a line through the middle.

Overall I suppose you get what you pay for. I am glad I only paid $29 for this phone as I don't think it is worth anymore than this. It is slow when writing text messages. It has no games. The predictive text on it is weird. Also the screen turns...

Cheap, decent sound

Hard to hear it ringing, it lacks features, slow, no games
