RadioShack& DECT 6.0 Cordless Phone

Mr. Martin static is usually a phone line problem not a phone defect!. ;-)

I like the quality and performance of the phone "but" the cordless handset in the other room rings 2 or 3 times before the base set rings. Some times it will transfer the call to voice mail before the base even rings. This causes a lot of missed calls.

Very good sound quality. Very easy to set up and the range is excellent. I could bring the handset across the street all the way to neighbor's backyard! Only issue I have is that I can't figure out how to do speed dial. If this is in the manual, it is...

I bought this unit a couple of months ago, and have been evaluating whether to replace the 5.4GHz model I have from a different manufacturer. After using this for several weeks the sound and range clearly out-pace the previous generation of technology....

I purchased at local Radio Shack and after less than a month, the handset with cord had static - replaced the cord and no better. I tried to take it back and they sent me to Radio Shack phone tree - called them and they told me to go to my local Radio...

basic function that makes this unusable for me is that after a call is receive and I want to call it back, I'd have to save it and edit it then redial it. Not very effective.

This is a great phone. Just charge the battery and it is ready. It is very easy to add phone numbers to the directory. This is our second Radio Shack phone and we felt we got great quality and value!!
