I have owned multiple lcd and plasma screens the last one being the lg 50pk590 and honestly the 47ld690 leaves it in the shade and is ina completely different league! The picture is stunning and the images it produces have so much depth and sharpness...

an extra hdmi socket would of been nice but that really is a minor issue

You cant use Sky Remote with this TV as no code - if it wasn't for that problem this would be a great TV - picture, sound and look are top class. But having to use two remote is very irritating and it's outrageous that two huge organisations like LG...

Every conceivable connection on the back, plays stuff straight from a hard drive, easy start up. Excellent value

Its far too big for my room but it does look fantastic, excellent value

Very good TV with great picture.The optional Wifi dongle is good in that you can stream media from my server and the netcast feature has recently been improved to provide a lot of additional functions including BBC iPlayer.

nice stylish unit, fairly straightforward to set up nice overall appearence and screen size fine for my roonm, (18 x12)

like most modern electronic items, has manual on cd-rom much prefer manual in hand on paper while studying full installation.
