I actually have this unit with 4 outputs, not 1, at a slightly higher price. After I plugged it in, my two remote tvs no longer showed pixelation, or lost the sound. It made my wife very happy.

The product works as advertised -- boosts the signal quality and allows the cable box to communicate out. In my case, I have a big house with a 20 cable splitter so I need to boost the signal. I am happy with the purchase.

Works fine for TV use, but does nothing for cable modem. CHEAP plastic housing (guaranteed to give RFI problems which would violate FCC Regs). I think they should carry a quality one like Motorola, I here they actually work. No local source for those...
