Great cheap TV

 

Great picture. Cartoons (Archer) seems to be upscaled but still reads as 1080P. Lines are very crisp. Refresh is good even in PS4 games.

No deactivate ability for disconnected inputs. Old protocols so no 4K ability from my Fire TV. Slow on/off cycle

Get the extended warranty on this. I don't know if I have expired the original warranty, but I'm sure if you buy this thing, you'll need it.

cheap, very nice image quality, even with some small ghosting. Looks nice too, and will look nicer once I get this thing replaced with a new one.

Noticeable delay - almost .5 sec, which doesn't seem like it would be a long time, but it makes working on this monitor difficult at times. Also, it worked for about 3-4 months before it went on the fritz... I thought it was the HDMI connection, but...

None at all.

First off it takes the TV like 15 seconds to turn on. Secondly the input lag on this TV is unreal its either that or the refresh rates are terrible. If you want a TV to game on do not buy this one it might be good for cable but I don't know I do not...

Customer service won't honor 1 year Warranty parts/labor

 

I had to update this review from 5 egg to 1 since I paid for 2 and only have 1 working. Claim warranty on parts and labor for 1 year but won't honor it.

Excellent, got 2 of them. Wish I had bought 3. ***Edit*** 1 has failed and no longer powers on. Been contacting customer support numbers for 4 weeks now. Seems impossible to get them to schedule a repair man to come fix it.

Customer service doesnt respond, or say they will call back and don't.

Low cost "4K" TV that's really more like a 3K TV because of RGBW instead of RGB

This is *NOT* a "real" 4K tv ! ! ! I've proven this and compared with a 40 inch 4K Philips. This Changhong does *NOT* resolve 4K resolution when you feed it a 3840 x 2160 signal from a computer. I've tested this in depth using a home made application...
