I have 3 of these and have no had a problem with any of them. Sound and picture quality is great, all input\outputs works. No Issues here, and its cheap

Caution: Problems with HDMI sound

 

The other warnings about the weight of this TV are no joke! You will need a heavy duty wall mount and a "good" friend to help you lift.

Overall, we are very happy with the TV. Great size, Picture, and sound. Yes a few minor issues but nothing that concerned me enough to even call and complain. We were able to get the $499 sale price before christmas and today we feel it is still worth...

Great Picture quality right out of the box with no calibration needed. I honestly didn't expect it to as good as it is. Looks great on the boy's 360 playing games and streaming videos from the media server using HDMI (wish they had more HDMI inputs...

My biggest complaint is the inputs location, which is a double edge sword. I like the fact the input cables are not bent 90 degrees and are less stressed, but I really dislike trying to look up from underneath to reach them. Maybe a little better...

Worst Service Ever

 

TV is great if you get everything, but if you have to deal with Hannspree, it will turn into a nightmare. Newegg of course was great about getting it to me quickly, just like they always are.

At the price, the HDMI sound problems shouldn't be a deal killer, as they can be bypassed using the "Y" series cables, and the RCA jacked sound cables, both included with the set. I see NewEgg has raised the sales price by $100 from the holiday period...

Update: Had trouble, as other have, with HDMI cabled sound, but only using an LG DVD/VCR player/recorder. Using a Samsung DVD/VCR player that we have, it works just fine ; I don't know why one would work, and another wouldn't. Perhaps the manufacturer...

Damaged set

 

I purchased 2. One was an immediate gift. The other was visually inspected and wrapped for Christmas. It was opened Dec 20. When plugged in the screen was shattered. This was not apparent by looking at it when off. Of course the return time has passed...

CHEAP. Got it on sale for $500 with free shipping

Not 1080i. Also HDMI port is no good. HANNspree said it was a bad cable, which its not. I would have had to ship it to them, at my expense, to get it fixed. NOT very good support

WOW This thing is great! why is it such a discount!

 

Many inputs Im not using... Seems very solid and well put together. Small delay (when powering up (3sec) or changing channels (1/2 sec) People have dogged the remote... its actually well laid out; but get a universal if you want

Even better than it looks in the pics. Picture is great. Sound is the BEST ive heard in a LCD under a grand. The speakers come off (actually there off when it comes) so you can mount them seperately and the LCD will fit in a smaller enclosure/cabinet

WOW is this thing HEAVY. Probally the thickest and heaviest 37" ive seen. (good quality sound and speakers is one reason, dont know why the screen is so heavy)

The company needs a better picture for their product. TV looks a lot better than that dismal picture representing it.

No speaker screws. I took other reviewers advice and searched everywhere for them. I can positively say they did not arrive in the box. There was a slight blemish on one part of the silver trim around screen. Not a show stopper, but is noticeable close up
