It up and died. Like many others have said, the video kind of just blacked out. I heard a faint pop, saw a wisp of smoke, and poof! Gone. The TV will still power on and show the startup screen momentarily, so it isn't a fuse issue as far as I can tell....

Followup from 8/14/11

 

Might could be repaired if video card failure but why bother & certainly not cost effective. Already have purchased another LED set from Newegg for replacement.

It almost made it 2 years.

Video died yesterday after 23 months of use. Actually the screen flaws never got any worse from my original post. @ $299 on sale it will get to go to the recycling center.

Good price, good display, attractive enclosure

Picture display died after 14 months, I expected better. The warmup and time for channel change, mute function, etc. had time lag of 2-3 seconds, not common for any TV I have ever owned-disappointing. I'm hoping that some replaceable part has caused...

Shame on iSymphony!!!!

 

I know this is a late post, but I really need to let people know about this terrible experience. I can't imagine iSymphony will flourish as a brand with these kinds of problems (other buyers have posted similar experiences - why didn't I heed them?!?!?)

Unbelievably poor service! As other posters have indicated: it's a good tv, but G_d help you if you need warranty work!! My tv was picked up on 2/24/12 for repair. It likely needed a new video card. It is 3/30 today and despite my calling both...

they don't see these any longer - now I know why

 

the set had a beautiful display with my hd cable box and tech support was fast in responding to a couple of emails - UNTIL the picture went weird... I'll report back on warranty service

I don't know if anyone will find this review - but I'm posting it even though NewEgg has discontinued the product (and from the website, it appears that iSymphony has as well) it was great while it worked

only worked properly for 6 months - I am reserving judgment until I experience warranty service. I have been advised SO FOR that someone will come to my home and swap out the video card. This should not be a huge job. We'll see
