Great picture but not so trumotion

 

- I purchased this set under the impression that the 120hz trumotion would operate the same as another 120hz 55" LG set I have upstairs. The picture on the other set is very smooth and has trumotion settings to adjust - this one does not. - I'm not...

Great bright picture, vivid colors and nice contrast levels

TV is advertised as a TruMotion set but there is no setting for adjusting it. Other websites say it's permanently enabled however sports games and television shows HAVE motion blur and judder

Not pleased

 

Were it not for these issues and the fact that despite being within the RMA time limit I wasn't able to get a replacement I would have been satisfied with this set, but those are some HUGE ifs.

It's big. Decent picture clarity

Vertical banding issues on my set. Impossible to ignore during bright scenes or panning. Also localized discoloration near edges of the screen give me a large 360 degree blue border on anything brighter than black

Solid no-frills TV

 

TV Has been on my wall for about a month now and is looking great.

Really nice value for a screen of this size ; Viewing angles are very good ; Thin bezels are really nice

Only 2 HDMI ports ; No Smart TV ; (This is a pro for me because i have my PS3/Roku/XBox and would rather not pay for something i wont use)

Panel FAILED at 13 Months

 

Awful! I purchased this TV and 13 months later, the panel malfunctioned. Service shop could not repair it. There are others who have reported short panel life for this LG TV. I will not ever purchase an LG TV again.

LED Backlight died after 14 months

 

LED Backlight went out 14 months after a purchased it. This is the second LG TV in last years that died on me. Luckily, I purchased a extended warranty.

Great quality at great price

 

Picture is bright and clear, very sharp. I have an antenna for local stations that is run through my computer and Dish satellite service. So, I have to use 2 of the inputs and both work beautifully and are easy to switch between.

Very clear and bright screen. Always smooth with no motion blur. Watching movies is a pleasure on this tv. It doesnt have alot of un-needed plastic around edge of screen. And the remote also works with my LG bluray player. The only thing that it could...
