For the price, you can't beat this television - ESPECIALLY if you're looking to set up a quality 3D home theater. I purchased this for my new apartment bedroom, planning on hooking it up to my desktop to watch 3D movies on with an Nvidia 3DVision kit....

Bulb life on these televisions is notoriously short. You'll just have to accept that fact that some day you'll have to spend another $200-$400 on a replacement lamp. But honestly - for under $1300, how could you justify this as a serious drawback?

For the Price and screen size you simply won't find a better value!

Not really a con, but the set is almost a foot deep meaning you're not gonna hang it on a wall. With a amp/receiver,xbox,and a blu ray player you're gonna need a stand anyway so no big deal.

Killer picture quality, small bezel around screen, DLP, 3D, Shallow depth fits very close to wall. HUGE!!!! Light for its size. Picture quality near plasma (*ya I know its not a plasma, but is also didn't cost me 2 grand!) and a lot better the LED or LCD.

Bulb auto cool down mean if you accidentally shut it down you will have to wait up to 10 minutes for the bulb to cools and the set to allow you to reboot/turn it back on. Yes this set has to boot up...so don't expect it to be instant on...Not a con,...

this is simply the greatest tv for the money...incredible picture and checking all the avs sites on net...one finds calibrations cheap..BUT>.it is SENSATIONAL out of the box...and with free shipping and discounts..no better deal around...not even...

hard to find any but bulb does need to be replaced every3 or 4 years depending on once use...but that's figured into the great price..

Nice color when it works

MITSUBSHI has problems with heating, short lamp life and the light engine going out. I have a 65" DLP have had it for 2 yeas and have had nothing but problems with it. There support services will not answer my emails. Buyer beware.
