NEC PXT-32XD3

 

The NEC PXT-32XD3 is a quaint 32 inch plasma that boasts a great bunch of features, decent image quality and a rock bottom price.

HD tuner ; 1080p input ; Ridiculously cheap ; Better picture quality than a budget LCD

Lower than standard definition ; Sound is terrible ; Some image issues

Conclusion At AU$900 the NEC 32XD3 may have some issues, but when viewed in the context of its LCD competition, the picture quality is mostly strides beyond. If you're looking for a cheap TV then this unit represents a good buy.

There are heaps of these units now available from around $500 including Tevion from ALDI. They usually have LG screens. The reason they are now on the market is that the development of full HD plasmas required the manufacturing of physically smaller...

Excellent CRT replacement for about the same cost

i have a mass collection of dvds no longer will they need to be touched. the color looks great. remote works from anywhere in the house, HD tuner, 1080p input, Ridiculously cheap, Better picture quality than a budget LCD

australia still has no epg service built in, third party apps required., Lower than standard definition, Sound is terrible, Some image issues
