Panasonic Viera TC-PS2

Relatively inexpensive; decent black-level performance; solid grayscale accuracy; fingerprint-resistant finish; energy-efficient for a plasma.

Inaccurate primary colors and gamma; subpar bright-room quality; last year's Panasonic plasmas lost black-level performance over relatively short periods of time; sparse picture controls; uses significantly more power than LCDs.

Though it's not without its performance gaffes, the midrange Panasonic TC-PS2 series of plasma TVs still offers very good image quality for the price.

"Only had this t v for 15 months."

 

Steer clear of this one. Panasonic knew there were internal issues with this Viera, yet they will do nothing about them. Google it, and you'll see what I mean.

Big screen, fair picture quality.

Poor overall quality, only had it 15 months .... already having it shut down. 7 Flash board codes. Really ? If this is the best Panasonic has, I 'll never give them a second glance.

TV is good. It will be more useful if Panasonic can add RJ45 and wifi to use it with Netflix Pandora etc.

3D and plasma!

 

ok i did not buy this but did test it in the store. Just because i didnt purchase it doesnt make this tv a bad one...it is excellent. Infact the picture quality and clarity is second to none in its class. 62" is hugeeeeeeeee...and was not to my liking...

I love the size for the price, HOWEVER the picture qulaity does not seem quite as clear as it was on my 52 inch Panasonic. Things look a little grainy to me. Adjusting the picture off from the factory defaults helps a bit... but it still doesn\'t seem...

I bought this TV recently to replace my Panasonic 50 inch TV. Both TV have beautiful color and high resolution. It seems that 65 inch one is a little better. The remote control design is better too. The picture quality need to be carefully adjusted so...
