A Lemon!

 

Great feature set. Good picture quality. Can watch normal TV stations in undistorted 16:9 format.

Picture black out followed by dark etching in the middle of the screen.

Great TV with too many features

 

First, check out reviews in Home Theater Magazine where top of the line TVs (Philips, Toshiba, Sony and Zenith) were compared side by side. The result was cryptic and the stats looked like Sony won, but… All the panelists only talked about Philips...

PixelPlus, crystal-clear picture, very good sound

Could have more of standard inputs ; automatic picture format does not do the job
