Great TV

 

Putting the stand onto the tv if you arent wall mounting it can be very annoying if you dont have a magnetic screw driver. But that isnt truelly a con so thats why its here.

This Tv has an amazing picture. The number of HD and SD ports is perfect. Prevents me from having to use a switch. Setting it up was very simple with its on screen system of choosing between images to pick which you like best. The sound quality isnt...

Forget the "little" HDTVs, get a HUGE screen!

 

Great TV/Monitor for an Xbox 360 or HD Cable service. Even 480p looks great on it.

Lots of inputs. Standard number of HDMI inputs is 2. This has 4. All capable of 1080p. Matte finish screen for easy viewing in most light. No annoying reflections. Great sound for 2x10watt speakers.

Dynamic contrast is buggy. I recomend turnning it off. The Active light control is a little weird. When the image goes dark, it counters it making it brighter, which distorts the reason for the image doing dark.

Buy this tv

 

I actually own this TV but the brand name on it is Magnavox. Check into it, made by Philips but rebranded. Save some $ and buy the off brand with same quality.

Newegg price was 100$ less then the warehouse shopping club and 200$ less when tax was figured in. I have owned a 1080i HDTV for the past 3 years and when I turned this one on, it was like a whole new experience. Xbox games and HD programming looked...

Excellent product, the setup was easy. This TV uses an onscreen system that asks your opinion of a series of pictures and uses those answers to correctly adjust the picture settings for your desired preference

None this TV has the best picture I have seen

Great TV

 

I really wish Blu-Ray players would start dropping in price. I hate these $400 price tags. Should have got a PS3 I guess...

I really like the weight of the 42" display. Some 42" TV's can be up to 90 lbs and this one comes in at a nice 50lbs w/o stand.

Not 120MHz refresh rate but still looks awesome. No power button on the front of the television.

Great TV

 

Absolutely amazing tv and it makes a good pc monitor too. It handles fast moving video gams well. I could not find another tv out there where you got more for your money.

This tv has a great response time and it has an even better contrast ratio.

It doesn't have pip. I don't use it much any ways so no big deal.

PHILIPS 42" 1080p Full HD LCDTV w/ Pixel Plus HD - 42PFL3603D

 

After seeing the picture quality of this television I will look at Philips brand first when buying my next tv.

TV has a beautiful picture. Has options to set up the picture exactly to what you like. Sits on a very nice glass stand and is not real heavy. Makes playstation 3 games and blu-ray movies look amazing.

I have nothing that i do not like about this tv.
