Nice bright, extremely sharp picture. Exceptional value. Dual S-video inputs.

I purchased the RCA P46924 (identical to the P46921) 46" Projection TV in April 2000. There were two reasons why I chose this unit: picture quality compared to other more expensive models and price. This unit may be one of the least expensive, but...

Nice bright, extremely sharp picture. Exceptional value. Dual S-video inputs.

No component video inputs. Mediocre built-in speakers.

Great TV generally, but ....

 

I bought this TV brand new at an online auction for $500 under list. Set up was a breeze - the menus are easy to navigate.

Great picture, particularly through the S-Video. Good sound.

Have had to unplug the TV to reset picture & sound twice in 8 months.

I decided to buy a projection TV a couple of months ago, but first had to decide on whether standard or high definition should be the way to go. I set up the following criteria, based on our family's viewing habits, to help decide.

Beautiful, vivid color for all lighting conditions with very good audio at a great price

No component video inputs ; does have 2 S-video inputs, though

that's big tv alright (and a damn good one)

 

When they delivered this TV I realized it was just on the verge of being too big. Once I got it into position and hooked it all up I realized - hey - this is a pretty damn big TV.

huge bright sharp picture, great sound, cheap price

O.k. I have to be honest, I did not want a t.v. this big! My husband practically begged and pleaded until I gave in. Well, it got to the house and it was HUGE!! At first I was a little uncomfortable watching it because we had only had a 28 in....

Quality picture, guide plus feature, and other nice features like commercial skip, Picture in Picture, and sleep.

Minor audio and picture problem that we had.
