It makes a cool noise when its turned on and turned off. I bought this for a new bathroom and it has a light when the monitor is off. That makes for a perfect night light

DONT USE THIS AS A MONITOR!. while the bathroom was being installed i used this as my computer monitor and the max resolution is 1024 by 768 YES it claims it can go Higher but when it does it gets extreamly blurry and shaky

Overall design and ease of use are definite pluses. I generally like Samsung products and have a 40" 1080p flat panel I love. Set up is easy. May this set is better as a TV - Full screen TV quality is very good

As others have pointed out, light bleed at the top and bottom of the screen is quite noticable when watching letterbox movies. Upscaling DVD quality was poor. I had difficulty getting consistent flesh tones and eliminating "shinyness" to everything....

I just received this item last week, and it is just amazing... I connected my pc, xbox360, and ps3. I found out that this tv can get up to 1080i with hdmi. Everything is so vivid and the picture quality is excellent even with lower quality movies

My mount interfered with blocking the inputs. Its the "dual" c-channel type that hangs on a plate. Something a hacksaw and grinder can easily take care of
