Satellite/TV Antenna Diplexer

I bought this thing and it didn't even work. I took it back[...]

Like everyone said this thing is overpriced and to top it off it doesn't work that well. Just picked up one today and will be taking it back. Search online and you can find these for alot less.

I tried to use this to input an HD TV antenna RF cable with the RF cable from my Dish satellite service. It does not work. I'm going to try an AB switcher.

Radio SHAFT is overpriced China made junk. They don't sell parts anymore and all they do sell is cell phones. Back in the day, when you bought a Realistic product, aka Scanner, CB, etc, you knew it was good. Radio SHAFT has gone to the dogs.

If it worked, it would be worth the $1.50 you pay elsewhere, but it doesn't. Now you know why they have the name Radio Shaft.

U need 2 to multiplex and de-multiplex TV and Sat. I run both signals over one coax and get great service from it. Sat in this area has no local ch but I can receive local ch with in attic antenna. 2 diplexers allow me to use one coax to get both...

Never could get combiner / splitter setup to work. Wanted to get satellite signal to second TV along with broadcast VHF.

This is a typical example of overpriced poor-performing junk[*]. One should not have to pay more than $4.00 for a diplexer of this sort if it performs reasonably. In this case, this devices comes out of China and performs poorly - price should be less...
