Sharp LC-40LE653U

 

Sharp's LE653U series of HDTVs offer solid performance and a modest handful of online services at a reasonable price.

Affordable. Solid performance with accurate colors for the price.

Not as many online services and apps as competitors. Can appear slightly oversaturated out of the box.

Sharp 40" Aquos

 

I had read a review that stated the volume was a little light, our living room is about 22 x 24 and we run the volume at 50 to 60%. I you run the volume to 100% it won't blow you out of the room.

This is a very nice unit, and from Newegg I got it very quickly and at a very good price. The size of the unit measurements are accurate, therefore it fit exactly in our intertainment center.

The only thing that I was disappointed about was on the view setting (there are 4) S. streach, streach, normal and zoom. Depending on your signal from the cable provider, if you go to zoom a little bit of the picture may be cropped. There is nothing to...

Love the TV!

 

Pretty much my new favorite TV and I have five smart TV's in my house currently.

Love the TV, the picture is sharp and beautiful! The TV is responsive and works like it is supposed to ; Now my favorite part is the sound! The speakers for this TV is amazing! I would highly recommend this TV

Not one con except the fact that the TV has a 5 foot power cord which might cause some problems for some
