What I saw between flickers looked great

Out of the package constant flickering and firmware wouldn't update ; It sounded like a bug zapper and the screen would flicker brighter

This is a very nice HDTV for OTA programming as well as connectivity to my HTPC. The sound is a bit weak as others have mentioned, but no crackling noise -- perhaps the speakers need to be broke-in before cranking the volume

Sometimes the automatic brightness feature acts a little strange. It doesn't have enough of a tolerance so it will oscillate between 2 levels. It is possible to shut off the notifications but sometimes it's noticeable that the level is changing anyway...

Viewing angels on this display are superb. I sit off to the side viewing this set and it doesn't take from the display at all. The piano black finish makes it look very nice. I love the matte finish on the screen itself for reducing glare from windows....
