The Sony KDL-46W3100 is an excellent performer as far as colour, contrast and detail are concerned -- only some ghosting issues dampen our spirits.

Excellent detail. Contrast very good for LCD. Total lack of a piano-black finish.

Smearing issues. Lack of Contrast control may be confusing.

While this is an impressive TV, just like Bailer and SAS, the digital tuner on our Bravia has died just shy of 2 years from purchase - very disappointing that in such an expensive TV they skimped on an already inexpensive component.

Very impressive visual quality

Digital TV tuner prone to failure
