The Sony KDL46XBR is an excellent example of the LCD art, and includes up-to-date -- and working! -- features, and sumptuous styling.

Excellent colour and blacks ; Great contrast ; Able to outperform last year's plasmas ; Luxurious finish

Still some clouding issues ; Colour favours green over blue ; Can save money choosing X series instead

As some others have indicated when the TV starts up from cold after running for a number of hours the previous night. It displays layers down the screen, once the TV warms up the picture is fine again (back to how it always was). But problem returns...

Beautiful picture at least as good as Plasmas released in 2008

No TV guide, cold start problems one year and one month after purchase

My 46 XBR blew up just inside the warranty period. Would turn off to standby. Warranty claim repaired it only to have it do exactly the same thing this morning..2 weeks after repair. Extremely disappointed with this for a $4000 LCD. Thankfully Sony...

Picture was awesome in HD and for Blur-ay ; Great sound ; Easy to set up and use

We've had ours 3 mths and we are all gutted that it is stuffed. $3499 later, we will never spend again, I turned it on this morning and it took its time for the picture to come up, then when it did half the screen was dark and it was like layers upon...

Fantastic picture, awesome for games and HD tele was a joy to watch, the stand is an awesome safe design.

No handles to make it easy to move, changing channels takes its time, over priced for what it is.

I seem to have a problem with my 46XBR insofar as while watching TV programmes, audio lags the picture by up to half a second or so. I was wondering if anyone else had encountered this problem and if so how was it rectified. I donâ??t want to call out...

So slow to change chanels (or do I have it set up wrong somehow?) ; Seems to have lost sound on sbs hd (or is that me again?) ; When you buy it with the ps3 deal you still have to buy a HDMI or component cable because the lead that comes with the ps3...

i bought a 46X 2 days ago for $3500 with 5 year warranty, extremely happy. SD does seem a little grainy. I just found out that the contrast ratio is extremely low compared to other LCDs?
