Great TV. Bought it in 2008 and still has an excellent picture quality. I upgraded the firmware via the USB port in December 2010 and now I have no sync problems with my newer Bluray player that I bought in December 2010.

There are two separate options for dynamic brightness/ contrast, neither of which work particularly well and can be hard to find in the menus to turn off

Remote control sometimes fails. Image with too much noise even with the maximum reduction of noise. I have a sony bravia and the image is much better with the same signal (Comcast). My advice is not to buy a TV online, the best is to go to the store...
