broke within 2 hours of unboxing and plugging in. started getting a staticky screen then sound when out and then turned itself off and will not turn back on. tried moving to different outlet thought maybe ac static but no use

Serves as my tv as well as computer monitor. Good color/contrast/resolution/refresh rate for all its uses. Also a good price to value. Onboard sound is neat also

The remote is garbage, but thats a small detail. Ive noticed on upper end (1650+) resolutions the quality seems to decrease slightly, but that could just be my video card/cabling. No DVI is also a bummer

There are no real cons considering the price. However, the frame as well as the remote look cheap and the number of connections is very limited. Only one HDMI

picture is very clear(very bright as well), no 'ghosting', no blur whatsoever, and hdmi is awesome. also: no dead pixels

the remote--or at least the receiver for the remote--isn't the best, but it's no big deal(i don't really use the remote often anyhow), you just have to reposition [the remote] to get better reception

Nice Picture and I am really impressed with the Sound, its amazing. Piano Finish is like Samsung's. ViewSonic is more of a name brand then Dynex, Insignia...etc. They will pay for shipping for warranty work unlike Vizio. Great Tv for the price

Exactly what I wanted. Works great with my Xbox 360 with hd cables that came with the 360 and hdmi. Can run on 1080i and 720p, i prefer 720p. Also works great with my laptop with the hdmi cable, no problems with any screen fitting, works great at 720p....
