No picture in picture on mine... like many other LCDs, sometimes darks can be a bit too dark, but you can adjust it to taste. Puts off a good amount of heat (also like other monitors)

not much...hd content and dvd looked good while it worked...you sure get what you pay for with this one

after a few months the screen goes crazy with colors and pixels, you pay shipping to CA ($115 for me from IL) cause thats the only repair center, only to get a refurb tv back if they cant fix mine (which im still waiting to hear about)
