I had high hopes for this drive... but...

 

I wish they would extend the warranty due to a firmware bug that might have set the wear leveling wrong. 3 years 1 month of just read access seems even short for TLC NAND flash.

The drive was super fast while it worked. Fast boot, and fast access while it was working. I suspect SLC or MLC Flash at work while I had it. But

Since Flash is limited to write cycles (10k) for SLC, and less for MLC. I knew not to be constantly deleting and installing files. That is why I set a a traditional raid configured HDD to keep my data. The only installation I did on this drive was...

i guess im lucky?

 

i have had good luck with this drive compared to other owners . 14 months and still going strong . i never updated any firmware . just plug and play . its been on 2 amd asus boards and is currently on an msi z77 intel board . its been formatted 4-5...

Great drive for me

 

I've had mine for a year and it still works great. I had some driver issues at the beginning but it's been smooth sailing ever since.

Failed 2x in one year.

 

I would not purchase again.

Small lightweight. Corsair is pretty quick about their RMA, however you need to pay shipping

Corsair SSD is the way to go

 

Corsair RMA took a week to get a new drive and I'm up and running again. Took about a full day of several raw recoveries to pull the data off of the dead drive, Corsair SSD is the way to go, I've a 115GB non Corsair drive going on a year as well, not...

Works great in my AutoCad MEP 3D computer

Wish it was a larger size ; Died just after a year with out notice, one night there was an issue saving, next morning drive is not readable
