Not the fault of the manufacturer, but the price of an SSD is still pretty high and doesn't seem like it will be falling any time soon. However, this is the price we pay for the luxury of owning the fastest components.

Super fast drive access

 

This is my 1st SSD drive & I'm very impressed. I use this Ignite as my primary boot \ Windows C:\ drive & I install all my software onto a regular hard drive - this setup works quite nicely

Easy to install, and it makes Windows install and operate faster than I've ever seen before.

SSD drives are still pretty expensive,

Patriot Ignite 480 GB

 

Very fast boot and program access. Easy install in my HP Pavilion dv6 Notebook PC. Loaded Win7 without problems.
