It offered no improvement in service.

 

I broke the antenna off the original wireless unit that I bought from Buy.com. So I searched for a replacement. This D-Link wireless antenna is much larger than the original and it was implied to be better than the original one that mounts on the back...

Works Great on PC but not on Router!

 

Purchased this antenna and hooked it up to my Dlink router and it made no difference in recepton for my computers at all. I then decided to try hooking it up to the Dlink pci netwok adapter on my computer instead and put original antenna back on router...

my shop is a metal buliding with two small windows so it cut my signel way down till i used this antenna. it went from 50-60% to 90-100%
