Ezonics EZCam review

 

The best way to describe the EZCam II USB from Ezonics: it's cheap. It looks cheap, it feels cheap, and its price is cheap--not necessarily a bad thing if you're just looking for basic Webcam fun. But you won't get great image quality with its CMOS...

Affordable price; decent color rendition; toll-free tech support.

Doesn't handle low-light situations well; poor focus; very slow frame rate at 640x480-pixel resolution.

This is an entry-level Webcam that won't win anyone over with its cheap construction and poor image quality, but the price is hard to beat.

Bad Camera

 

I purchased this camera for my computer. I installed it correctly and some of the features didn't work. I used the video camera option first. When I was recording with it, it gave an strange greenish color to everything and I didn't want that quality...

Good inexpensive webcam

 

A friend of mine on the other coast bought a set of these and sent me one so we could video conference and save on long distance bills.

EZ Cam USB VS

 

Got it free after rebate, so can't complain too much. Its a low quality image, but it works and is very easy to set up. Seems to work with any twain compatible software too. Was able to scan images into CorelDraw for instance. Could use a Linux...

Easy setup, USB connectivity. Very low price.

Very poor video quality. Have to disable compression and restart each time.
