Clear picture for video and still shots; vibrant colors; "boosts" for different lighting situations; sensitive microphone; headset included.

Whites are blown out in dim settings; some digital noise in black backgrounds; privacy shield comes off too easily; camera is too easy to remove from stand.

I have a quickcam 5000 and am having trouble with the sound I get in touch with uk I can hear them but they carn't hear me i have gone through the wizard and it should be working but its not can you advise thanks Dawn Johnson

works with Skype for mac without installing drivers

true plug and play ; Bought it for 35 euro at IBOOD which I think is pretty good value

The software is only available for Windows

Good webcam, works well with XP

Easy to install, easy to use, good quality image and sound, good price and very robust

The privacy shield is easily knocked off, but is just as easily reattached
