Powerful components, elegant design, OS X, extremely high-quality in every way, very thin and light

Gets a little hot, as notebooks do. I'm just paranoid. If you're looking for an ultra-portable, 17" is a bit on the big side. Rumor has it it will be updated in January 2008, but this machine is classic Apple perfection anyway

The display is INCREDIBLE even by desktop display standards. This laptop makes a great desktop replacement. The Core 2 Duo is incredibly fast, and the new 8600GT runs every modern game out there at great settings. It is very thin at 1". Worth every...

For ULTRA portability, I would not recommend this laptop, as it is just large enough to be considered slightly awkward

Update: Dec 27, 2008 ****If anything I feel more positive about this laptop than when I wrote this review. It works as well today as it did the day I bought it. Since the time of this review, I have upgraded the PC side to Vista ...

Usually runs Windows as well as a pc. Great hardware. Will convert you to Mac!

Has the glitches of a Windows laptop plus some of its own. Pricey.

Has all the glitches of a Windows XP laptop plus some of its own. Pricey.
