Great cheap business notebook

 

Sturdy, inexpensive business laptop with a great keyboard. Recommended.

14" is the right balance of size vs portability ; 4+ hours batter life ; Windows 7 Pro ; 7200rpm hard drive ; Keyboard and trackpad are very nice to use

Screen could be higher quality ; Backlit keyboard would be nice

Great so far (only 3 months old)

 

My old Lenovo R61 was amazing and lasted for over 5 years so I had to get another Lenovo Thinkpad. The E420 is lighter and possibly not as robust but has great performance for home use. Quite high specs (i7 processor etc) for the price and works...

Fast, compact, good price for its specs.

No light shining on the keyboard for use in the dark
