Philips SA2820 review

Despite its three-star rating, the Philips has much to commend it – stylish looks, ease of use and dinky dimensions. But the sound quality is poor

Small and cute ; nicely finished ; clever interface ; a lot of memory for the size and price

Sounds grim with the supplied headphones and not much better with an upgrade

An object lesson in packaging and ergonomics, but sound lets the Philips down

Philips Go Gear Digital Audio Player SA2820

This is a tiny MP3 player that also can make voice recordings. Although it is tiny the screen is still very readable and with battery life of close to twenty hours between recharge it certainly has things in its favour.

Firstly it is small enough to fit in the palm of the smallest hand. It is 4cm wide and tall and only a smidgen over 1cm thick, the weight (before you attach the earbuds) is just 27grams. The top has on/off and back buttons as well as the 3.5mm jack...

Günstiger Shuffle-Rivale: Philips SA2820

Philips' SA2820 ist sicherlich nicht der MP3-Player mit der besten Klangqualität und den umfangreichsten Funktionen. Aber er stellt eine bezahlbare Alternative zu Apples iPod Shuffle dar und dürfte mit seinem speziellen Design bei vielen gut ankommen.

vernünftiger Preis, einfache Handhabung, Musikübertragung ohne Software, langlebiger Akku

unterstützt nur wenige Dateiformate, basslastige Klangqualität

Philips Gogear SA2820: Minimal musikmaskin

Test: Pyttesmå mp3-spelare har vi sett tidigare, men det kan aldrig vara fel att ha en pytteliten musikmaskin dinglandes kring halsen. Philips bidrar med SA2820, en liten spelare som har en minst lika liten prislapp.

Mycket liten och smidig ; Lätt att använda ; Ganska bra batteritid

Inget drm-stöd ; Bedrövliga hörlurar

Prislappen skvallrar om att SA2820 är en enkel produkt, och det är den också. Ljudet är godkänt och spelaren spelar hyfsat länge på sitt inbyggda batteri, men några funktioner ser vi inte röken av.
